I love Dr Carl. She is legit the best doctor on the planet. She takes her time to get to know the patient and is in no rush to get through the exam. My biggest source of frustration is I continue to book appointments with her every year for me and other members of my family, but somehow my appointments get switched to a different doctor. If it had only happened on once I’d say, eh, stuff happens, but this has happened on three different occasions. What’s more is after talking with my mother who also sees Dr Carl she said this has also happened to her as well and also more than once. It’s absolutely unacceptable. My 4:30 appointment was changed to 5:00 while I was actively waiting for my appointment. Then another patient came in with a problem with his new prescription and he was bumped ahead of us. Our 5:00 appointment was pushed to 5:30 and we didn’t get out of there until 6:30. That’s two full hours for an eye exam. I refuse to take off stars for Dr Carl; she’s worth waiting for, but holy cow, what kind of practice is this?! Do better.
