We've had to come to Children's for a variety of things, both planned an unplanned. Each time we are impressed with the care teams, the specialists who help kiddos feel informed and calm during procedures, and the balance of speed/quality care.

Absolute joke of a medical facility. My baby and I were sitting for over 5 hours in the er without ever once being seen by a physician, after coming in at midnight. We got lost in the mix of shift change and never once got seen. We ended up leaving once urgent care was open at 8am. Nobody questioned why we left or even seemed to care, they just let us walk out. Absolute joke!!!! Don’t come if you actually care about your child getting help. Would give zero stars if I could

My daughter had a fever, cough, slightly sinking chest, and noisy breathing coming in. She threw up in the lobby. I sat in the waiting room from 3am until 6 am. I watched everyone that was in the ER when I walked in AND people that got there 30 mins to a hr after us get called back before us. I asked the front desk how many more people were in front of us, and she said there was still 3 more people in front of us. At this point, I decided to leave because her clinic opens up at 8 am. The waiting period here is ridiculous. We had a similar incident happen when my daughter was 9 months old, and the same thing happened. We were stuck waiting for 5 hours, and still were not called back.

Not happy at all! I was brought in by ambulance due to my child stop breathing in the car and they were taking their sweet time and not Caring about my two month old at all we were there for about seven hours and all they did was ran an EKG and kept her on a monitor and said she was fine and sent us home. They kept joking about how we were gonna make it home in time for the Super Bowl when I didn’t care about the Super Bowl I cared about my child’s well-being. The next day I ended up taking her to a different hospital and They ran all sorts of tests like Covid RSV flu none of that came back positive so they did a chest x-ray to make sure she didn’t have pneumonia that came back negative and so they were concerned and checked her kidneys and found that she had a UTI now how is it that a hospital that doesn’t specialize in children’s was able to take better care of my Two month old then children’s Hospital, which is dedicated to children I’m very unsatisfied with children’s Emergency department
