- SBShanieka BankstonDec 31, 20255.0This is my second time at this location. My yearly visit was due back in July. I finally got scheduled while I had a break from work to take care of my eyes. The optometrist was super nice and knowledgeable. He was not the same one I saw last year but gave me lots of advice on my aging eyes. I got an eye glass appointment, contact fitting and a new pair of glasses as well. Upon pulling my insurance we found out that VSP only pays for a frame every two years, so I was not eligible for a new pair of frames. This was very frustrating because I never intended on using my same frame with my new prescription as my eyes are very bad, I could never wait for my new lenses to be installed in my current frame. I am a huge fan of the Michael Kors Nassau frames. They are very unique in style and fit my face perfectly. I get so many compliments on these frames that I absolutely wanted them again in classic black. The lady that was helping me was super helpful and went in to look up to see if they came in black and to my surprise they did. However they were a little pricey, $230.00. This was going to be an out of pocket expense to me on top of the costs that I already have to personalize my glasses, so I was given a discount of $92.00 off my frame to offset the cost. She could tell that I really loved my frames and wanted them again. That was very nice of her. I was able to get the frame that I love and at a discounted price. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

I wish they had better frame styles to choose from, so much of the stock is plastic and thick. I prefer thin or metal frames with spring hinges. Regardless, I like the team and feel comfortable there.

He made getting older okay lol. The staff was also great explained all my insurance questions. Would highly recommend.
