  Do not go here if you may need X-rays. Despite advertising an xray on site, they were not staffed to do X-rays on a Saturday afternoon. The receptionist told me this, but said the doctor would see me and worst case have me come back the following day for an xray. But the doctor told me I needed to go to the ER for X-rays. So I wasted my copay and an hour of wait time just to have to go to the ER anyway.

  Suffering from an evil cough from acid reflux because of stress. Went in after work 7:30 pm a half hour from closing time. I was checked in quickly seen in no time by wonderful staff. That absolutely took care of me with concern, respect and patience. I was absolutely calmed from the stress I was in. They listened to my needs and it was not my first visit at that facility. Just a wonderful experience.

  I scheduled the first available appointment here at 8:00, filled everything out online, and was listed as first on the online waitlist. I arrived on time, and there was one person ahead of me filling out paperwork. I could clearly see/hear staff in the back just standing around chatting while waiting for him. When that individual finally finished his forms, he was taken back—even though his appointment time was after mine. Shortly after, another man walked in without an appointment and with only mild symptoms, and he was also seen before me. It was clear that appointment times were not being honored, which defeats the purpose of scheduling ahead. The situation became even more frustrating when it came to my prescription. I clearly stated that my prescription should be sent to CVS in Mohegan Lake and specifically asked them NOT to send it to JV Pharmacy because they were closed. Despite this, the prescription was sent to JV Pharmacy anyway. This mistake delayed my medication by several hours. In addition, I also know others personally who have had similar issues with this location, where they do not send over the prescriptions to the pharmacy. When I brought the error to their attention, the staff was neither courteous nor helpful. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told I would have to wait an unspecified amount of time for the prescription to be resent. Because of their mistake, I was forced to travel around town in bad weather to obtain my medication, unnecessarily putting my safety at risk. Overall, the lack of organization, failure to honor scheduled appointments, and poor customer service were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this location to anybody.
