I arrived at this location at 7:30. They didn’t open until 8. Once they opened, I was the third person out of maybe 7 people on line to check in. I didn’t realize I had to do an appointment for a job scheduled drug test so I opted in for the standby list. I was informed on the iPad that the wait may be up to 60 minutes but since I was early and there were barely any customers, I didn’t expect to be served that late. Once everyone else checked in, I noticed on the screen many people with late appointment between 11am to 3pm had arrived and checked in as well. I didn’t think anything of it until I noticed every single person I walked in with had been called and served before me, even the ones with the very late appointments. It didn’t bother me until I noticed that every single time a new person would walk in, they would be called in less than 5 minutes after they checked in online. I began to get frustrated but was unable to speak to anyone so I went onto the website to see if there were any appointments available. Coincidentally there was one so I went ahead and scheduled. After my new appointment was scheduled I then got up to check in with my appointment. I began having issues putting in my confirmation code and an employee walked out to call a new patient. The employee noticed me and the first thing she responded to me saying was ,what was I doing?, which it was pretty obvious what I was doing. I then explained to her that I was trying to check in and how I’ve been on the standby waitlist but haven’t been called yet. Before I was able to finish telling her I have an appointment, she then cuts me off and says “we are not taking any patients on the waitlist because we are overbooked”.. um ok. I told her ok but I have an appointment. Then she says ok good, just check in for your appointment, being completely dismissive because she would’ve known this had she not cut me off in the first place. Then I began to tell her I was having issues checking in and then she came over to see what the issue was. She was my confirmation code, put it in herself and an error code was popping up. She then proceeds to tell me, we can’t take you today because it’s not popping up in their system and you don’t have an appointment. WHAT?! So then I responded why can’t I be taken today, my confirmation code is right here and you’ve tried putting it in yourself. She then says there’s nothing they can do. I then proceeded to tell her don’t worry about it, I was waiting for 45 minutes sitting and you guys surely saw me and saw two names on the standby by list and did not care to inform anyone that you would not be taking anyone on that list. The time at this point was 8:45am. 10 minutes prior to this interaction, a woman arrived at the office and had been trying to check in but was receiving an error message as well, when the employee came out, she informed her she is unable to check in but has her appointment but keeps changing her appointment time. The employee simply confirms if she has an appointment , the woman says yes and they respond, don’t worry we’ll take you way before your appointment time and they didn’t ask any further questions. This is absolutely unacceptable. I was singled out, refused service and was not attended to or spoken to whatsoever, only to be told I can’t receive service. I would NEVER come to this location and I would NOT recommend this location. They lack simple communication and they do not care about customers and their time.
