I came here thinking I waz guna be in and out within maybe half hour... I was told by my doctor that i could just go there and i will be seen, i checked in and my name was on tha screen as a stand-by, which means u aint guna be seen until all appointments are done, they take all appointments 1st, if i would have known that i would have made a appointment ahead of time, s0 I left about hour and 45 mins later, went home and made a appointment, for a diff location 😁 So if u wanna be in and out within 10 mins, call or go online n make u a appointment 😆 They will send you a code 2 ur phone, u use that code 2 check in at the Kiosk when u go 4 your appointment.

I was in and out in less than 10 minutes & didn’t even realize I had blood 🩸 drawn.
The staff member, Thelma was excellent! Very nice and friendly!
Very unprofessional place.
FRANCESCA talked to me my entire appointment about her ex husbands new gf…….whatever didn’t care until I got home and realized I never got my id back and my insurance card missing aswell and when I went to come back to see if it was there the first time I was told she was off until Wednesday. Finally just had the chance to stop back and grab it today and I’m questioned w “I’m sorry no I never helped you today”……I said it wasn’t today it was a couple weeks ago I remember you…she’s looking at me like I’m stupid???? LOL.Then comes back and says she doesn’t have it.So I asked if there was a way I can leave my phone number incase it comes up and she says no if it hasn’t came up already it won’t….okay lol

I filed a complaint with corporate office about this issue a few times. The Southgate plaza office and ALL OTHER LOCATIONS I have USED IN ERIE COUNTY,NY are not not ADA compliant. Chairs are not equipped to allow people of all sizes to sit, this includes no adjustable height options in the chairs the patients are required to use for blood draws. The entry doors are HEAVY and there is no handicapped accessible option for automatic doors. Every visit to quest as a disabled person who is required to use mobility aids (like walker in my case, wheel chair in other cases I have witnessed), is literally traumatic for me and evokes tremendous anxiety. At times I have canceled appointments when I have a had high pain day knowing that I will be forced to stand to check in, stand while I wait for my appointment, stand for a blood draw then have to walk to my vehicle and rest a few minutes to be able to drive home. It is simply unacceptable. Its a simple fix of putting armless chairs in high quantity in all waiting rooms and exam rooms. Also, new equipment that is hydraulic to lower to the ground to enable people like me to sit in the chair safely then the staff can push a button, raise the chair, and complete the blood draw safely.
This review has nothing to do with the staff, but the company itself. It is also very difficult to make an appointment and there is no way to communicate with staff in any part of the process until you walk in the door and talk to phlebotomists. They have no power to change the company. The staff is typically great. The corporation sucks and is ableist.
