  I had an incredible experience with Dr. Buchsbaum and SMILE! As an ophthalmologist, I knew I wanted SMILE vs. another refractive procedure as it is the safest one out there, but not many surgeons can perform it. Dr. Buchsbaum was so thorough in doing my preoperative testing, and he was very personable and patient. I was able to get a consultation and have the surgery done the same day (a huge plus!). Day of surgery, I was light sensitive for about 6 hours but was able to go out for dinner and was seeing close to 20/20 already. I went back to work 2 days after and could not be happier to be out of my glasses and contacts. A huge thank you to Dr. Buchsbaum and the entire team at Westchester for restoring my vision!
