  They come and put in a decent lift. I have had the lift for 12 years roughly. I have to call repeatedly to get a call back. Don't expect a call back on a broken lift or parts ordered 3 months ago for at least a week. This hasn't happened once but has been a repeated problem throughout the 12 years. No return phone calls for someone who relies on a lift is unacceptable

  Professional Service! Tom installed a double chairlift in record time. He explained exactly how it works with great detail. Recommend this business with high grades!

  Tom and Frank are the best! So glad we went with their family business rather than a big corporate entity when it came time to purchase a stair lift for my mother-in-law. Friendly, no-pressure sales call. A promise of customer service and support on which they continue to deliver. After installation, when my mother-in-law thought the chair was making a bit too much noise, a technician came the day after to grease the track. Six months later, when the chair became stuck, we called after regular business hours and both Frank and Tom called back that same night. Tom came the next morning with his usual friendly demeanor and humor and fixed the issue in short order. Best of all, my mother-in-law is happy with the chair and uses it always. I highly recommend StairGlide New York.

  I never wrote a negative review, but feel I must share my experience! I dealt with Tom Knoblaugh to install a motorized chair. He was polite and friendly, but when he didn’t show up at the scheduled time, he said he had two emergencies. I told him that’s understandable but a phone call would have been in order. After about 3 hours late I get a text meant for his technician telling him to call the “pain in the a$ customer”..... when I texted him about this attitude and told him not to bother, again “ my apologies, trying to keep customers happy “ Calling a new customer names to his employees is no way to do business! Would never recommend this company/ owner to anyone!!
