Additionally, there was no signage that Oakley frames require Oakley lenses with are almost twice as much as regular lenses. Finally, I inquired about what my insurance covered. A woman indicated frames up to $150. I spent 30 minutes looking for frames I liked that wer Oakley but $285. I was fine with paying the difference. However when I inquired what my insurance covered, she failed to tell me my insurance ONLY covers lenses $150 period. None more than that. This resulted in a VERY long visit as I had to find a different set of frames. They had a very limited selection in that price point. Additionally, I was prompted to get a second pair and sunglasses resulting in a whopping $600! When all was said and doneI was there for three hours! I left with just a pair of ugly frames that insurance covered. Nice folks but bad sales practices.

The associate checking me out proceeded to tell me that if I ordered frames online (not from LensCrafters) that were plastic I would get cancer and I’m Irresponsible if I do so. He kept repeating this to me until I finally told him that I had recently had a double mastectomy. I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. He kept rambling and it was to the point that I couldn’t even place my glasses order and he was arguing that they didn’t take my insurance- even tho I was already in their system. I was so upset I finally just got up and left. Will not be returning.
