  I have had 2 surgeries in the last 6 months and 3 in the last 2 years at Syosset Hospital, 2 of which required overnight stays. From the moment you pull up in your car until released I can't say enough about the experience. The check-in for both presurgical testing and surgery is smooth, and the nurses are amazing, especially in the pre-surgical station. On 2/27 I was managed by Elissa W and she could not have been more personable and professional. The Anesthesia team is also spot on especially applying the nerve block required for my procedure. The team that handles overnight stays are right on top of everything you need and the food / service is incredible.

  This hospital has the warmest, kindest, and most professional staff — from the nurses to the surgeons. I had an appendectomy, and I felt very hopeful and supported throughout the whole experience. Thank you all very much, especially the post-operative nurses ❤️❤️

  After a very long and exhausting experience at another hospital where I waited over four hours to be seen, walking into this hospital was a completely different experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with kindness, professionalism, and compassion. The waiting time was fair and appropriate, and I truly felt cared for. When I mentioned I was cold, they immediately brought me an extra blanket without hesitation. It may seem like a small gesture, but in that moment it meant everything to me. Every nurse and staff member I interacted with was sweet, attentive, and respectful. They made a stressful situation feel a little less overwhelming. I’m so grateful for the care I received here. Thank you for treating patients with not just efficiency, but genuine humanity.

  After waiting 2 hours in the waiting room they put me on a bed in the hallway then got an x ray on my foot said no fracture but it hurts then I go to a real Dr and next day they say my foot is completely broken so thanks for letting me walk on a broken foot syosset hospital. They told me to RICE a broken foot. Never go here this is the worst hospital

  Went in a couple of days before New Year's eve for a knee replacement with Dr Segal. I have to say, from the pre op visit to the day of surgery and up until my discharge the day after surgery, everyone was wonderful. I am a healthcare professional and normally I don't like hospital personnel but this place was different. I was greeted warmly and professionally, little to no wait, and everyone, from the guard to the admitting office to the nurses and doctors, everyone was top notch, so nice and made me feel very comfortable in my choice of hospital. OR nurses made me feel very comfortable, anesthesiologist was very nice and attentive. Floor nurses were all great and PT team was so good to me. I had my other knee done at HSS and I would choose Syosset any day of the week!!! Even the nutritionist was so accommodating, and the food was actually pretty good. Very happy in the end. They are part of Northwell and the PT I received at home was also great. Very positive experience, Bravo Syosset Hospital
