  I will never go there again they are all talking on their phones, cursing in the halls being very rude. Bad bedside, manners leave you there for hours without attending to you. Asking a question, they say 1 minute and never come back. Very bad experience don't advise anybody to go there.\nUnprofessional. And all those five stars are probably family members of the staff all bs....

  Very disappointing experience in the emergency room. The nurses were extremely rude and unhelpful. I came in with my 2-year-old daughter and we waited for test results. When I politely asked how long it would take, I was told it could be a couple of hours. My child had not eaten for about 7 hours, so I asked if we could speak with the doctor. We waited another 40 minutes and nobody came to talk to us. At that point we decided to leave. Instead of helping, a nurse told me that we were not allowed to leave with my daughter. That was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. What made it even worse was that the test results were apparently ready only 5–10 minutes after I asked again. It felt like nobody even bothered to check. Overall, a very poor emergency room experience. The staff seemed lazy and dismissive, especially considering we were there with a small child. I expected much better care and communication. In comparison, I have had much better experiences at North Shore.

  Had a good experience at SIUH South Campus. The nursing staff was attentive, compassionate, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The doctors took the time to explain everything clearly and addressed all my concerns. Wait times can be a bit long but that's expected at any hospital. Overall I felt well cared for and would trust this facility again.

  ABSOLUTELY THE WORST HOSPITAL THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE THEY WAIT FOR YOUR SITUATION TO GET TO THE LAST STRAW THEN GIVE YOU ATTENTION! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

  Careless night doctors and nurses. Visited 2 twice in a row, they believe patients visiting for picnic or fun. Total careless and non-professional.
