I cannot recommend Dr. Ayman Farid and the team at NYU Langone Cardiology Associates highly enough. I recently had a virtual visit with the doctor, and he truly went above and beyond all possibilities to ensure I was cared for. He is incredibly knowledgeable and shows a level of genuine care for his patients that is rare to find.
When I went into the office for my EKG, the entire staff was professional, kind, and supportive. I was having a very hard time breathing, and they were so attentive to my health and safety. They called me many times over the phone to follow up and make sure I was okay, showing how much they truly prioritize patient well-being.
A special thank you to Gabby, Alexa, Britani, Leeann, and Kaitlyn. They were so understanding of my schedule and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. This is a team of experts who treat you with dignity and heart. If you need a cardiologist in Staten Island, this is the place to go!

This doctor farid gave me misinformed cause he wanted to milk my health insurance. Gave me all kind of tests, and try to refer me to a specialist saying i need a pace maker. I got a second opinion from another cardiologist who i trust deeply. He said i didn't need to see a specialist. If you have grade A insurance, he will perform several tests on you just to get paid big money and give you a misdiagnosis if you of color!

What is a nuclear stress test and what should I expect?
A nuclear stress test images blood flow to the heart at rest and after exertion (or medication).
