  HIDDEN FEES AND POOR REFUND PROCESS I had a disappointing experience at this GNC store. As someone on a tight budget, I explained my situation to the employee while purchasing supplements. Without my knowledge or consent, a $40 VIP membership was added to my order. There was no itemized breakdown on the checkout screen—just a total amount—which made it easy to miss. When I realized the charge later, I contacted GNC corporate for a refund. They instructed me to return to the store in person, but the store refused to process it. I called corporate again, and they assured me the refund was approved and that I’d receive a call with details within 24 hours. After two days with no follow-up, I called back and was told I’d need to confirm my account via an email, which could take another 24-48 hours. This back-and-forth felt unprofessional and frustrating, especially for a simple refund. I hope GNC improves transparency in checkout processes and streamlines customer service to avoid similar issues for others. Still waiting on resolution.
