- TSTammie SchiavoneAug 27, 20251.0Unfortunately, they do not use saline during plasmaphoresis to rehydrate you and keep your blood pressure consistent. They give gatorade at the end of cycle. There used to be a shortage of saline, but not anymore. Not sure why it’s not back. I’m complaining because I don’t feel well during and after plasmaphoresis at this facility; sweaty, dizzy, nausea. I never had this problem at Octapharma, who does use saline. I am upset as I love the people here and it’s a clean facility with shorter wait times than Octapharma. Can someone please explain the decision regarding the use of saline please? I am sure I am not the only client with this issue. I do believe this should be a safety concern of Kedpharma. If this is a cost cutting decision, shame in you. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I didn’t know how else to get the company’s attention as this is a decision for the “higher ups.”
