False advertising for business hours. They are not open at 7am. Drove over 20 minutes at 7am and their doors are locked and the place is dark. Not even a sign on the door that advertised holiday hours. Needed a gift certificate. Had to drive all the way to another location. Needless to say I won't patronize a business that cant even open on time.

I have had the absolute worst experience at Stretch Lab Scarsdale and truthfully the institution as a whole. The actual services have been adequate; although if one were to have a stretch buddy I’m sure you both could learn the stretches to secure this experience on your own and save yourself hundreds of dollars as I should have done. The biggest upset has been the membership. Im an educator and signed up for a three month membership because it was sold to me as the most cost efficient. My jobs HSA ends up paying for the service so I see no out of pocket costs. I paused the membership at the end of the academic year and planned to put it back on when I returned from break. However stretch lab began charging me for months I was unable to attend stretches which amounted in over 1000 dollars of charges that I ended up having to pay for. Because the payment was for past due charges, stretch lab forced me to pay, and I was unable to experience the services which they knew would be the case. Being forced to pay for services I could never use is genuine robbery. The company claimed to have extended the stretches I missed which is false as according to the manager 12 of my stretches were lost and could not be accessed. Then, as I tried to cancel my membership they gave me the run around. I had to keep calling the lab back, and Scarsdale has no receptionist, so I was often calling a voicemail; possibly because the organization is trying to cut costs yet again hurting customers. The company claims to have reached out to me to remediate the situation. The reached out to have me pay my bill and I expressed that my job pays every single time. Did they offer to freeze the account until the matter which was out of my hands was resolved no. They kept charging me and expressed the account could not be remediated until the bill was paid in full. Now I find out I have to cancel 30 days in advance and I was billed yet again. This company does not care about people, the season, or your pockets I do not recommend. Hundreds of dollars down the drain.

Terrible experience at Scarsdale StretchLab They fool you with the membership and you can’t even cancel it even you have a health problem. Don’t go there the manager can fool you very easy. Be careful don’t sign anything without reading it.

I went into StretchLab and immediately was greeted. Rob who is the GM provided an understanding of the flow of the appointment and introduced me to Elijah! Elijah heard my needs, understood where I stand and assisted in providing solutions. He tailored each stretch with my 15+ year injury in mind. He communicated each step of the way and provided amazing customer service. I am super excited for the progress I will make in the near future with the consistency! #Selfcaredayaccomplished

UPDATING MY REVIEW: After my original post an area manager reached out and resolved our problem. I think they were between branch managers when we were trying to end our monthly plan. She was conciliatory and efficient. We did enjoy the stretches and would recommend that. But I still think that if customers can set up an online account and take care of scheduling and billing online, there should also be a way to cancel an account online. Original review: Stretch is good, business practices bad! My husband and I first tried the stretch services when our Medicare Advantage plan covered them and were pleased. After our insurance discontinued the program, I arranged a monthly membership for my husband, charged automatically to our credit card, and was told we could cancel at any time. He went once a week and found it beneficial for about 6 months. Unfortunately it was a 30 minute drive from our house and eventually we decided it just wasn’t practical. I tried to cancel our membership online but apparently they make that impossible. So I called numerous times and could never get anyone on the phone. I tried texting to the number they sent reminders from but that didn’t help. We finally tried to cancel it in person when my husband went for a stretch, but there was no manager available. The staff member tried to help and put a note in our file. A few weeks later they billed our card again, so I opened a dispute and had the charge reversed, explaining to the credit card company the sequence of events. Shortly after that I got an email from a new General Manager asking to discuss a “past due balance” on our account. I wrote back explaining the sequence of events above. I assumed that cleared things up since I never heard anything else from them. But now I am getting texts and phone calls from a collection agency telling me that we are TWO months past due. This is ridiculous. And I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Don’t set up an automatic billing plan with this business.
