  I finally did it - I got my SMILE procedure at Manhattan LASIK Center! Today marks exactly seven days since my surgery on 12/03/2025, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked into the Roslyn location, the entire team made me feel incredibly comfortable. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and Dr. Buchsbaum - who performed my procedure -- was absolutely amazing. My eyes were checked thoroughly, then checked again, and then checked again. That level of care is when I knew I had made the right choice with MLC. After wearing contacts for over 20 years, the idea that I could be free of them in just minutes felt unbelievable --but it's exactly what happened. Dr. B made me feel completely safe, reassured me that there would be no pain and walked me through every step as it happened. I left with medicated drops, artificial tears, and UV sunglasses to support my recovery. On the sixth day, I even received a thoughtful follow-up call from Ty, checking in to make sure everything was going well and asking if I had any questions. That level of personal care truly sets them apart. Dr. Buchsbaum and his team are exceptional at what they do. I'm beyond grateful I chose MLC for my SMILE procedure, and I would recommend them to everyone!
