***To reply to the good feet stores comment I would like to add that no, you did not mention anything about checking to see if the purchase was eligible. That actually would have made me look into it further as I was nervous making a purchase like that. When asked about the use of HSA for payment the response was simply yes, we accept it. Hence why I'm saying it feels predatory to me.
A lot of the response you made to my review seems defensive instead of helpful. I already stated why it was declined and no information you can provide me will help my situation. Thanks for informing me there is no returns also, I already mentioned that you were very clear on your return policy and I know that you won't help me with a return.***
The service and experience was okay. I feel like the insoles work okay.
Where my problem lies is in the advertisement of accepting FSA and HSA and their return policy. They make it very clear there are no returns, you sign an extra page just for the no returns policy.
The other thing is, if you're not well educated on your FSA or HSA through work (I don't think most people are) this could bite you in the butt. I had a lot of money in mine that I never use and these insoles are not cheap so I thought, I could use this money to buy a set otherwise, if it was out of pocket, I wouldn't ordinarily buy something like this.
Through my work, I did not know that they could turn this payment down months later. I'm not sure if all HSA's through work operate the same way but I guess mine only works for things doctors give you a prescription for AND it has to also be something covered by my insurance excellus BCBS. if it doesn't fall under both of those categories, the payment gets declined.
So 6 months later after I used my HSA card to make the payment at the store with no issues, I get a letter saying that payment was declined and I learned the reasons why.
Since I always have so much money in my account and they advertise that that accept HSA and FSA I thought I would have no issues with the payment so I actually went all out and bought a lot. I got 4 insoles total, a couple pairs of shoes, extra insole covers and socks. The total came out to over $2,300
I feel it's predatory to have the strict return policy and advertise they accept the FSA and HSA without warning people to look into their policy very closely. Especially because ny the time your policy let's you know it's declined it's months later and there's definitely nothing you could do about returns or working with the company with unused products. Everything i had was clearly used by that time.
Now I owe over $2,300 to my insurance basically and can't really afford it.

Frequently Asked Questions About Good Feet Store Rochester
How are our arch supports different from inserts and insoles I can buy online or in drug stores?
Good Feet Arch Supports are designed to provide the firm, yet flexible function necessary to help correct poor foot biomechanics, providing long term pain-relief solutions.
I buy good shoes, but my feet still hurt. Can arch supports help me?
Absolutely. It’s common for people to think that their shoes are the problem, when in reality it’s often the foot that’s going into the shoes that’s the real source of discomfort. By stabilizing the foot with a good arch support, the pain and discomfort caused by common foot and foot-related problems can often be minimized or alleviated.
Will I be able to take my arch supports home the same day I purchase them?
Yes, for ages 6+. Your local Good Feet Store stocks a full inventory of arch supports. Once you’ve been fitted and have found the supports that work the best for you, you’ll be able to wear your new arch supports home.
How do I get my free fitting?
It’s simple. Just stop by your local Good Feet Store. No appointment is necessary, but if you prefer, you can schedule an appointment at the store near you.
Can I use my HSA or FSA funds to purchase arch supports?
Yes, you can use your HSA or FSA to purchase our arch supports. Arch supports, shoe inserts, insoles, or orthotics are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement
(HRA). However, arch support reimbursement is not eligible with a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account
(DCFSA). Arch Support Inserts are eligible for reimbursement with an FSA or HSA as they are devices placed into your shoes to support the arch of your foot to reduce—or even
eliminate—pain. Important Reminder: FSAs, HSAs, and other listed account types may differ. Be sure to check with your administrator before making a purchase.
