Dr. Mroueh and his entire staff are the most amazingly caring people I have ever known. While no one wants to be in the position of needing their care- they make supporting their patients a priority, and I personally have never felt so genuinely loved and cared for at a doctors office in my life. I personally had a long and confusing journey to motherhood, and by the time I was ready to be discharged to my OB with my last baby, I cried as I hugged the staff because it felt like I was leaving my second family. Even when my arms were empty, I always recommended Dr. Mroueh to people who asked for fertility doctor recommendations. I truly cannot speak highly enough! I’ve included a picture of my 3 little miracles!
10/10 do not recommend! They are cold, and have seriously bad bedside manny. In the end it feels a lot like a racket. Almost like they knew I had no chance, first telling me that the only option was IVF. Now oddly enough Dr M actually said try having intercourse on the day they called me( days before my scheduled retrieval) to tell me there were no eggs to retrieve. If simple intercourse was an option why would you recommend IVF?? What I think is this doctor is so far removed from what is going in with each patient (did he even have my chart in front of him?)
Wasn’t the whole point of all the test, ultrasound, and medicine to track the ovulation? And then this man tells me to try intercourse as if he didn’t already tell me that wasn’t possible when he recommended IVF. Sounds very backwards like they just wanted to get paid!
I would not recommend anyone to waste precious, critical time putting your fertility needs in the hands of this unorganized, careless office.
I know it’s a hard sell for me to tell you to get a second opinion if you have already paid and begun your process with this office. But just know this doctor M seems to be the doctor for all three locations in upstate ny!
They do a very poor job communicating, especially something so important as to the “why” and “next steps” “ proper treatment plan”?! I’m not just upset it didn’t work, I’m mad at all the back and forth it makes me feel that they are not equipped in many ways to be doing this level of experimentation on folks.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Everyone is absolutely amazing, professional and thorough. Consistent communication and every single person I have met here is very personable. You won’t feel like just a number here. I called in the beginning of February due to feeling brushed off by previous providers. I am under the age of 25 but am suffering from recurrent pregnancy loss. I was quickly made an appointment for the end of February. I only had to wait three weeks for my consultation. I was very impressed with Carly Hank. I felt she took me very seriously. I also appreciated that she thoroughly went through my medical history. Lab work and next steps have been communicated. I don’t feel left in the dark. I feel taken care of and that a burden is lifted off my shoulders. The financial coordinator has been very upfront. All questions I have had get answers. Whenever I call the office, someone always promptly answers. Amazing care!
I was asked to get some blood tests before my treatment started. When one of them came back positive, a practitioner said they would not worry it. I went on to have multiple IUIs there but none was succesful. Later I went to Strong Fertility and the first thing they said was that they concerned about the one positive blood test result and asked me to do repeat it. The repeated test was positive again and Strong's doctor told me that condition is known to cause recurring miscarriages, and my condition needs proper treatment.
Secondly, their payment system was a mess when they got bought by Boston IVF and switched to a new system. As the results, I received incorrect bills for something I already paid and have the receipts. I called the Billing office in Albany and the local office in Rochester multiple times, I even went to the Rochester office to drop off proof of payment. I did everything I could but the bills were not reviewed and corrected, and they threatened to turn the balances over to a Collection Agency. If this happens, I will file a complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. New York approved the legistlation prohibiting hospital to report unpaid medical debts to consumer reporting agency because they cannot verify the accuracy of the bills.
My experience with this place is negative and I will never return to them. The treatment itself is harsh enough and no patient should have to fight to get correct bills.
