  If there’s patient coming with insurance problem; call patient before the appointment so patient doesn’t has to drive there then realize can’t be seen because insurance purposes. It took me 30-35 mins drive from job then to this appointment which i couldn’t be seen. Wasted my time instead driving home to cook for kids. Avoid this situation. I was referral by my job which is Northwell as well but couldn’t been seen. No good at all..

  Eileen and the optical staff were extremely helpful when I broke my glasses while away. They went out of their way to expedite the arrival of the replacement pair and arranged for overnight shipping to get them to me. Very professional and dedicated staff highly recommended

  We were in the area for the holiday week, my daughter’s eyes became red, photosensitive with a gray glare after prolonged contact lens use. Google to the rescue, after 3 closed offices and 1 booked up, the receptionist at Northwell stated they were booked but would check availability and call me back, 10 minutes later we had a 3pm appointment. The receptionist courteous and efficient. The medical assistant Beth was wonderful!! She put care before paperwork , numbed my baby’s eye, then proceeded to the review of systems. She used wit and humor to lighten the mood all while rapidly getting the formalities complete so we could see the doctor. The doctor was great as well, expressed concern, did a thorough examination and explained all treatment options. Not going to lie, I was a little concerned when I saw the 1 star review, but our back was against the wall and it couldn’t have worked out better. I would give this office a 10/10 if I could.

  Lately, the office wait times have been atrocious. 2 hours is inexcusable. The waiting room was full of people who waited as long as we did. Also, it's time to drop the mask requirement
