honestly i was very excited to hear that they had an opening for me to get inducted there ….. lord it was prob the worst thing ive ever experienced….. was supposed to come in at 5 am but it got delayed due to no rooms until 11:30 , i’ve 39.5 weeks preg then anyways they got a room for me bc my blood pressure was high and i have preeclampsia the room had no tv or remote to call the nurse they gave me a bell …. i didn’t get induced until 5 pm ( moved rooms bc there when i got a room ) so basically 12 hrs after my actual time . no good for over 12 hrs sucked . the nurses was super nice and professional that was the best part . after giving birth there was no lactation dr or nurse that came by … i had no idea what to do . we stayed for one night then got kicked out bc they needed the room for someone else so we were at a waiting room first one in then two other ladies followed and i was the last one out so basically stayed there for a night ,…. then got moved to another room with no fridge and it wasTINY , thank goodness the nurses there were super nice and helpful ….. i felt super rushed also when i came in on day one there a least 5-6 other ladies waiting for a room two were in pain already :( if it wasn’t for my blood pressure i have no idea how long ill be waiting …. also they kept saying their give us a room and hours passed ( in a resolve we stayed at the waiting room for the second night it was TINYYYY no chairs or couch for my hubby to sleep then goodness no one else came so he was able to sleep at a patient bed but was told if they need the bed he will need to get up which is ok ). our final room before we left the bathroom toilet was leaking ,,, but i was scared to report it bc i didn’t want to wait for another room . the food …. don’t even get me started . overall i was so happy to get this hosp but then after this exp i don’t think ill ever want to delivery here again….. my friends hosp ( has nurses come all the time to check up and teach u to bathe the baby and a lac dr come …. we never got that instead we had to google and chat gpt everything ) low key it was super stressful and scary as we are both new parents ….. on top of that they limit ur formula and i wasn’t able to breastfeed bc there was nothing the told me it may take 3-5 days for it to start . anyways nightmare exp hopefully yall had a better experience ….. than us .

Dangerous facility to give birth at. Lack of care, will have women waiting in lobbies when in need of critical care. Staff need to be retrained. Baby was recently born in a bathroom at this facility due to negligence.

    - nursing staff was incredibly mean - one nurse was not only rude to us, but on multiple occasions, she pricked our newborn’s foot for a blood test and refused to put a Band-Aid on - my wife had to deliver our baby in a broken hospital bed, which restricted the positions she could be in, which prolonged and complicated her labor and pain We absolutely love our doctor, but the rest of the staff and the hospital itself is absolutely terrible. Update: delivered our second child here despite terrible prior experience because it’s our only option to have the doctor we love deliver our baby. Experience was better than last time but still not great. Delivery staff and experience was much much better. No complaints there other than anesthesiology taking 4 hours to remove my wife’s epidural. It seemed that there were some legitimate emergencies that made it take a while, but then it seems that they forgot about the request entirely. Postpartum experience was somehow worse: - shower was broken so only scalding hot water came out - bassinet cart was severely undersupplied. We’d ask for basic items like swaddle cloths, bottles, nipples, etc and get them one at a time often after having to make multiple request. For comparison, when we had our first baby here just over a year ago both drawers of the cart were completely full. This time one is maybe half full. - the room had no nursing chair/rocker, which made it very difficult for me as the father to bond with my daughter and meant that my wife’s only seating option was the hospital bed - staff ranged from indifferent to incompetent to judgmental and mean. EXCEPT Joann who is too good for this place! - anytime we ask for anything, like supplies for the baby or my wife, we’d have to ask multiple times and were made to feel like we were asking for something unusual or excessive. - my wife has trouble breast-feeding, and yet the staff here continued to push it on her extremely heavily to the point of refusing to answer questions about exclusive formula feeding in favor of just repeatedly telling her to breast-feed. That put unnecessary emotional stress on my wife and made the entire experience much more upsetting than it ever should’ve been. - overall, both the delivery room and the postpartum room were dirty. Like visibly dirty. I’m talking mystery fluids spewed all over the walls, and physical pieces of dirt all over the floors. I killed multiple flies. Gross. It makes you want to take a million showers, but you can’t without your skin melting off! So yeah. Still 1 star.

I went there at 7pm on what my app says is 20 weeks due to prolonged bleeding at my doctor’s recommendation. When I got there the staff in labor & delivery was very condescending about how according to their calculations I was actually 19 weeks 6 days and so I would have to go down to the emergency room to help things “go quicker”. They wouldn’t even do a Doppler on the baby before they sent me so I could see if she was ok. I got to the ER and it was packed. There were well over 100 people waiting. It was standing room only and people were bleeding, coughing, and visibly very sick. Not exactly the best environment for an immunocompromised pregnant person. The intake nurse even called up again to ask if they would reconsider taking me back up and she was told no. I waited over a half an hour without even being brought back, still unsure if my baby was ok. Eventually I just left. I figured in 5 hours maybe L&D would just let me wait up there so I’m not rising the flu or worse I would definitely be waiting there at least that long anyway. If I didn’t love my OB I would never set foot in this place again.
