  I have been a patient of Dr. Maria Karounos at Dental Village Associates of Poughkeepsie for over 15 years, and she has also cared for my entire family as our trusted dentist. I first came to her practice on the recommendation of a colleague and friend, and it has been one of the best referrals I’ve ever received. Dr. Karounos is not only highly skilled, but also genuinely caring and professional. Over the years, she has provided excellent care and guidance, and I have always felt confident in the treatment I’ve received. Her staff is outstanding as well. Shereen, her dental assistant, is attentive and reassuring during procedures. Shannon, who manages the front office and patient logistics, is organized, welcoming, and makes scheduling and follow-ups effortless. Most recently, I’ve had the pleasure of working with their dental hygienist, Samantha, who has been a wonderful addition to the team. She is thorough, professional, and very approachable—truly a great fit for the practice. The atmosphere at Dental Village Associates is warm, professional, and supportive. I highly recommend Dr. Karounos and her team to anyone looking for exceptional dental care.

  They are very friendly and professional. The office is spotless. After too many years of not going to a dentist I needed a lot of work done. They figured out my insurance for me, and even let me know when I was going to max out for the year so we could do the important stuff first. The whole team is a five-star group.
