I had a very disappointing experience with Nurse Practitioner Kaitlyn MacDowell. I waited a whole week for a call back, and in the end the receptionist just briefly told me to “go to physical therapy,” without addressing anything.
During my visit, I could hear loud laughter from the next room, and when she finally came in, she even admitted she should have been there much earlier. She didn’t listen to my symptoms at all and sent me for an MRI and X-ray—yet radiology later told me she never submitted
the MRI authorization. Because of the holiday, I waited almost two weeks just to get another short, unhelpful message.
Unfortunately, my husband also saw her separately and had almost the exact same experience: rushed, not listening, and even giving him an incorrect diagnosis. The medication she gave him did nothing, and he had to return again just to get the proper diagnosis he already told her about.
We didn’t expect perfection, but at least some basic respect and attention. Sadly, both of our experiences fell far below that.
