I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire staff at Plainview Hospital for the exceptional care provided to my very dear 90-year-old friend.
From the moment she arrived, it was clear that this was not just a place of medical treatment, but a place of genuine compassion. Every member of the team—from the nurses and aides to the physicians and support staff—treated her with remarkable kindness, patience, and dignity. At her age, comfort and reassurance mean everything, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure she felt safe, respected, and cared for.
The level of attentiveness was truly outstanding. Whether it was responding quickly to her needs, explaining things clearly, or simply offering a reassuring presence, the care she received brought tremendous peace of mind not only to her, but to those of us who care deeply about her.
It is incredibly comforting to know that such a high standard of care exists right here in our community. I am sincerely grateful to have Plainview Hospital available to care for someone so important to me.
Thank you all for the compassion, professionalism, and humanity you show every day
ER is nice and clean and not too cramped. The RNs, PAs, physicians, technician, transporters were all very professional and friendly. The wait time was reasonable given my acuity.

Horrible emergency room experience. My husband was brought in by ambulance. Left unattended . Was brought in because he started shacking and pass out. He was left unattended. Then he went into some kind of an episode and know Dr was around. Finally after screaming for a Dr he had to be restrained by 5 people to hold him down. The worst experience of my life. He was left with so many bruises and cuts. Will never go back there again. Also adding they fractured his back. Went to back surgeon now he has to wear a brace for 2 month. Plainview sucks!!!!!!!!
PSA before coming to this specific hospital, I wouldn’t advise to have your special needs child or any family member that has special needs to come into this hospital. I have a friend who brought her special-needs brother into this facility due to pneumonia. They apparently do not have a one on one aid/s to stay with your special needs family member!! One day, my friend had to go home, but would return right back. During those few hours she received a call saying her brother got a heart attack. Mind you he was all alone in the room and he’s nonverbal. He sadly passed away, but it could’ve been a different outcome if he would’ve gotten the proper care. But before all of this, they were sending her nonverbal Brother home each and every time he wasn’t feeling well. Clearly this hospital is not good with making sure people are OK before discharging them.

My mom was just discharged today from this hospital. DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT !!! go to this Hospital unless you don’t mind attitude and rude people taking care of you or anyone you love. Don’t get me wrong, there are people who work there that enjoy doing their job and have a good bed side manner. I would say that’s about a 30% the rest are too busy with either playing on there phone’s or avoiding patients. This Hospital in my an opinion is a 3 world place . Avoid at all costs If you have an emergency tell the ambulance or whoever is driving you to go somewhere else.
