My mom was just discharged today from this hospital. DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT !!! go to this Hospital unless you don’t mind attitude and rude people taking care of you or anyone you love. Don’t get me wrong, there are people who work there that enjoy doing their job and have a good bed side manner. I would say that’s about a 30% the rest are too busy with either playing on there phone’s or avoiding patients. This Hospital in my an opinion is a 3 world place . Avoid at all costs If you have an emergency tell the ambulance or whoever is driving you to go somewhere else.

Horrible experience, have a 5mm kidney stone. Came in with fever and chills followed by throwing up. Waited 4 hours just to be told I had a kidney stone, and to take Tylenol and a pill for an infection. TYLENOL.

I took my partner to the ER for chest pains and trouble breathing. We had basically no wait time they took him right in, we were greeted and he was taken care of with such amazing attention by the overnight nurses and PAs, we were there for maybe 3 hours and got his vitals, ekg, mobile chest x ray and bloodwork all done with such efficiency. They were amazing, I wish I could remember the blonde PAs name, she was so kind, warm and caring! The ER itself was also very clean and organized. I was so worried but their gentle, attentive care really took away mine and my partner’s fear. Thank you!!! As for their surgical unit, I had gotten a surgical procedure done and the nurses with me were so kind and helped me with anxiety before the surgery. I felt so comfortable and safe, and they even left me a sweet get well note with my discharge papers. This is a great hospital with a great staff!

I was there about 3 weeks ago with my father to get his medical records since his a transplant doctor had asked for his doctors medical diagnosis at the time he was initially diagnosed with a disease. I helped my dad fill out the form, and handed it to the clerk who had asked for a bit more information about addresses, etc. I had made sure to ask for ALL of his records. Finally 3 weeks later my dad receives the package and lo and behold, we only have medical records from 2025. Despite having checked the box for ALL of his records, which I know at least dated back to 2017. Turns out on the copy of the request form that had been mailed alongside the records, someone had written the date range of only 2025 in neat writing. I know it wasn't me because I have very sloppy hand writing and I helped my dad fill out the page so it couldn't be him. So now me and my father have to take another time out of our day to go and request the missing records that should have already been mailed to us. It sucks to write this because all other times I've been to this hospital the nurses have treated my father very kindly and with respect.

My dad was sent by ambulance with a heart rate of 42(very low) and septic. They put him in a room with others and let him sit there for two hours before being seen. Manhasste would have taken care of him IMMEDIATELY…. This used to be a decent hospital. I would send my dad here if We could not go to manhasset where they actually care and take care of you. Well my dad was here 2x this month they sent him home did absolutely nothing, told me he has kidney failure never told me this prior and then he died. I am sick and disgusted that this is our medical system! All we are is a # for money for them. U have to be ur own advocate! Thats all i did was fight for him. Sickening Update: I made a complaint and they sent me a letter stating they are sorry. As usual thats what they all say. Anyway they did absolutely nothing the days he was there. They could have removed the fluid from him but they sent him home and he died. I am disgusted by this hospital and the whole medical system
