  Today was my first visit to Northwell Labs and this will be the only place I go from now on! What a great experience. The staff is very friendly and greet you when you walk in. The waiting room was full and I was a walk-in, so I expected to be waiting a long time…but the staff really kept things moving, and all of a sudden the waiting room cleared out within ten minutes! My phlebotomist, Lassandra was great! Typically I am a hard stick and it usually takes at least two attempts to draw my blood, but she found a vein right away and got it on the first try! I was so pleasantly surprised. Thank you for a stress free experience!

  Aside from their location being less than 10 minutes from my residence which awesome. The staff is amazing. I am a very difficult stick and everytime i go for bloodwork they get it every time no matter who draws my blood. Each one is so kind and very patient. They make sure I am comfortable, relaxed and they're absolutely understand that I am a big baby and will cry at the slightest bit of pain. However I have not shed one tear. Seriously, I am very nervous due to past experiences at other labs (not Northwell) where I have been poked 9+ times with no success. Thank God that is not the case at Northwell Labs. They listen to me in regards to which veins are of use when drawing blood, which needles are best as per prior technicians. While I don't remember their names I will always remember their kindness. All Northwell Lab locations are great however The Lab @ Patchogue is my home base. Thank you so much guys 🌹

  Horrible with drawing blood from kids. Had a bad experience here 4 years ago and swore we'd never go back. Our usual lab had closed for the day so decided to give them another chance. The phlebotomist was poking the needle around my daughters arm trying to get it to stick the vein while obviously causing her pain. The lead phlebotomist was finally able to draw blood from a 2nd vein, but not until after my daughter was distressed and probably traumatized from getting blood work now.
