Me and my husband took a day off to come for our eye exam. We couldn’t get our glasses because the website was down that day so we had to take another day off to do that. Then we get a text that our glasses are ready and we show up at 5:20 when you’re open till six on a Thursday and your closed. This location is not around the corner from our house and to not keep the hours that you say you have on your website as a big inconvenience. If it wasn’t for Dr. Campbell, I would find eye care elsewhere.
I couldn’t even make an appointment. I called 2 separate days and went through the annoying process of press this press that to finally be told by a computer to leave a message just to make an appointment. I left my name and number. The next day came and i didn’t hear back so i called again and did the same thing. No response. So i called the “office manager” at a different number and to no surprise i was told to leave another message. I did and never received a call back. Save yourself the trouble and go to Buffalo Ophthalmology. You can talk to a person and they pick up the phone.

I just took one of my individuals( my client with developmental disabilities) to get her annual eye exam she had the 1st appointment of the day @8:15am they didn’t see her until 10am a 2hr wait when other people was in and out seems like maybe the way you are treated is based off what kind of insurance you have. Idk but it was a terrible experience

I made an appointment as a new patient and got one within a week. All of the staff were welcoming, professional, respectful, and accommodating. I felt listened to. I will return!

I am writing to share my dissatisfaction with a recent eye exam at your office.
While the appointment was scheduled as a routine eye exam, my primary goal was also to discuss ongoing difficulties with my vision—specifically the challenges I have using glasses and contact lenses consistently, which give me headaches, dizziness, continued difficulty seeing, and significantly impact my job. I was referred to your practice based on a friend’s very positive experience with Michael Campbell, who reportedly helped address complex near- and far-sighted vision issues. Based on that recommendation, I was hopeful I would leave my appointment with options or next steps to address my concerns.
Although Lauren Kalinowski was professional and the exam itself was basic and fine, I left feeling disappointed and dismissed. I was told I am not a candidate for LASIK, but no explanation was provided as to why. I was briefly told I could see another provider (Atwall, I believe), but I do not recall the name clearly and was not given any written information or referral. Overall, I felt the appointment was rushed and that my concerns were not meaningfully addressed. The non-verbal communication throughout the visit further contributed to my feeling that the goal was simply to complete the appointment rather than explore solutions.
I was hoping to leave with a clearer understanding of my options or at least a plan moving forward. Instead, I felt as though I was being told that this is simply something I "need to live with". Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be returning as a patient.
I wanted to provide this feedback so you are aware of how this experience felt from a patient’s perspective.
