  Dr. Romo is the very best! I had a revision rhinoplasty surgery of my nose that was operated many years ago and had developed various deformities, some of which, I honestly had doubt could be successfully fixed. To my dismay, not only did Dr. Romo make the required corrections, but he also managed to achieve perfection structurally, functionally and of course aesthetically. I am happy to say that my nose looks amazing! Thank you, Dr. Romo. Your knowledge and experience in nose architecture and your artistic skills are unsurpassed. For over a year, I embarked in extensive research and watched many podcasts where renowned rhinoplasty surgeons discussed all topics including the complexity of the procedures, the best/worst surgeries, the different techniques and approach and before and after results. I also watched actual videos of rhinoplasty procedures. In the end, I narrowed my search to three of the best-known NYC rhinoplasty surgeons who performed revisions. I reviewed experience, affiliations, testimonial, before and after pictures and patient reviews. But, what really set Dr. Romo apart from others was his vast experience as demonstrated in his responses on a site called RealSelf, where he addresses in great technical details and without redundancy every aspect of the procedure including the pro and cons of certain techniques/approach used, and also his website videos where he discusses all topics with great expertise. I went to see Dr. Romo as my first consultation and once I met him, I knew I have found the right surgeon. I was very impressed by how kind, real, confident, and down-to-earth person he was. He made me feel very comfortable as he explained in relatively easy terms the problems with my nose without even examining it. He could visualize easily for the first time and in a few minutes what I needed. Dr. Romo’s knowledge and confidence instantly gave me the assurance that he would do a great job. My assessment was accurate and on point! I could not be happier with the results. I knew from the time I came out of the procedure; the operation was a success. Being over 70 and having to go through general anesthesia was a concern to me because I have never been hospitalized. However, I felt very relief to see how well equipped and comfortable Dr. Romo’s office was. I also like to emphasize the skills and professional expertise of the anesthesiologist. I had the best anesthesiologist, wow! No, a single symptom. Everything went so smooth and comfortable could have easily walked out from the procedure without escort, if allowed. As for his office staff, they are the best professionals one can expect of a world class facial plastic surgery practice. May God continue to enlighten him to help others like me!

  I've been a patient of Dr. Romo's since the spring of 2025. He performed a earlobe repair surgery just this past week Dr. Romo is a gifted surgeon and his staff is absolutely great!! Friendly, professional and personable! I highly recommend his practice for anything great or small. Also great location and beautiful Office Space!!

  I went to Dr. Romo for an upper lip reconstruction after a fall 20yrs ago left it slightly asymmetrical and made me self- conscious in photos. The defect was subtle, but somehow Dr. Romo was able to identify it immediately after listening to my complaints. He skillfully talked me through the process, and completed my surgery only a week later. His team was so friendly and went above and beyond. Results are beyond what I was hoping for! Dr. Romo didn’t just remove the scar tissue, he enhanced the natural shape of my lips. Incredibly grateful for him and the team at Romo surgery.
