  I’ve called 9 times in 6 days since my initial appt. Every single time, ive been promised a callback. No one has responded to any call or MyChart message.

  I have been a patient of Dr Garret Leonard from 5 columbus circle ny orthopedic outpatient. He has always been dismissive of my complaints and symptoms. My first realization was when I got a copy of my medical record and he was not writing my complaints as their progressed into more pain and broader symptoms. I have had a very difficult time getting him to complete my FMLA form. On the day I came in for the form I explained what I need it for. To attend therapy and to be absent from work durinf flare ups. I received a letter from him back in the summer that allowed me to be 100% remote for 3 months. I returned to work. However my symptoms have not improved. They have gotten worse. I explained to him and he wrote another letter. He offered to make me 100% remote again. I explained that I don't want or need to. That my pain has not gotten better however. Some days are better than others and I am already remote 2 times a week per my employee contract. I would want to use it intermittently. So it was very confusing when I explained to him my employers HR office informs section 9 of the fmla form which allows for intermittent absence is blank and need to be completed. I asked for the section to I need to leave work 3 days a week to attend therapy and for my flare up to reflect lasting 2 days. He told me no. I explained that he knows I have more than 2 flare up a month. He said hes going to complete the form how he see fits and told me to find another physician if I dont like it. I am requesting someone review the phone call recording and address the situation. He has not been treating me with care or providing care. He just want me to come in so he can get paid for an appointment to fix his mistake

  Receptionist are rude, they give you a head shake implying “what do you want”. How about saying “Hello, how I can help you”.. happened the 2 times I’ve been there. As for the orthopedic doctor, I won’t name his name, is absolutely terrible. God forbid you ask a question to educate yourself.. he’ll think you’re making assumptions about the diagnosis and say “be careful making assumptions is dangerous for both you and I”… i asked a question so I don’t make an assumption, questions are not assumptions. Just don’t go here. The orthopedic doctor is a very weird guy. You won’t be comfortable here

  had a very positive experience during my 1st time visit with dr. leonard and anika, the medical assistant. i felt at ease and had a very informative convo with the doctor abt my prognosis & health care plan. will def keep them on my healthcare team!

  They have promised me a call back to schedule multiple times when I call and they never call back. They act like me wanting to come in to see a doctor is a burden to them. Wish I had other local options
