  Dr Farshad Shafizadeh and his team provided me with extremely high quality and very empathetic urological care this Winter to address a prostate issue I experienced. I cannot emphasize enough how both professional and supportive each and everyone there is as I felt well-informed and comfortable during all stages for their services and medical procedures. Thank you all!

  Dr. Shafizadeh himself is a nice doctor, but the office operations make it nearly impossible to recommend this practice. Between December 2025 and March 2026, my appointments were cancelled four times because the ultrasound machine was supposedly down. After the fourth reschedule, I missed an appointment on Tuesday ( March 17 2026) because after so many cancellations and date changes I forgot to add the latest one to my calendar (understandable when you've been rescheduled this many times). The office called me on Tuesday and rescheduled me for Thursday, March 19th. I showed up on Thursday only to be told, once again, that the ultrasound machine was down or unavailable. They apparently called me the day before during work hours, but did not leave a voicemail, so I had no way of knowing. Instead of sending me home, they told me the doctor would come see me. I then sat in the waiting + exam room from 3:30 to 4:25, nearly an hour with zero communication about any delays. The constant cancellations, rescheduling, miscommunication, and excessive wait times point to a deeply disorganized office. Other reviews echo the same issue with 1+ hour waits, so this clearly isn't a one-off. I'm now actively looking for a new urologist.

  Doctor Farshad Shafizadeh and his amazing staff handles each patient with the upmost respect and care. They truly only want what is best for their patients and work hard towards their success. Each appointment I have had, they make sure I am comfortable and explain everything regarding my care to me. I feel fortunate to have found New York Urologic, I know with them, I will be able to correct what is needed. I fully recommend this place to anyone, family, friends, and all those who read this review.

  Great experience at New York Urologic. Everyone was professional and helpful and the staff made the visit easy and seamless. Dr Shafizadeh makes you feel confident and is always available to his patients to answer questions.

  I had a great experience at New York Urologic and would like to recognize Dr. Farshad Shafizadeh, along with Bahara and Denise. Bahara and Denise were welcoming, respectful, and very professional. They made me feel comfortable and at ease, which is especially important in a urology setting. Their calm and caring demeanor truly stood out. Both Bahara and Denise consistently go above and beyond for their patients. Their attentiveness, follow-through, and genuine concern do not go unnoticed. It’s clear they truly care and put in the extra effort to make sure patients feel supported every step of the way. Dr. Shafizadeh is very knowledgeable and clearly skilled at what he does. He inspires confidence and takes a professional, thoughtful approach to patient care. The combination of expertise and compassion in this office makes a real difference. I’m very grateful for the experience I had and highly recommend this practice. — Davon
