Sincerely left the practice due to the scheduling issues and machine line feel of doctors going through the motions during one of the most important moments of someone’s life. We get it’s a business, stop making it feel so much like one.
The communication is exceptionally poor, and there was a noticeable absence of empathy during the scheduling process, as well as a general lack of care.

I’ve been seeing my OB for over 20 years and have always had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, over the past year, NYU has made being part of this network incredibly frustrating and disheartening, especially during pregnancy.
During my first pregnancy, everything was smooth. This time, NYU is making it extremely difficult to be a working mother. I’m now required to attend additional, redundant ultrasounds at a separate NYU MFM office on top of my regular OB appointments. My doctor—who I trust completely—has confirmed that my pregnancy is healthy and progressing normally, yet NYU insists these extra MONTHLY scans are “policy.”
The MFM office itself is wildly understaffed (their own words), making it nearly impossible to get appointments and often requiring long waits. It’s incredibly disruptive to take extra time off work, arrange childcare, and attend back-to-back appointments for unnecessary procedures.
It feels excessive, invasive, and like a way to bill insurance twice a month instead of once. NYU should be ashamed of how they are treating pregnant patients—especially those juggling work and family. This is not patient-centered care. It’s a system that prioritizes bureaucracy over people.

I mean I agree with everyone's write-up here. It's not well run, the staff is kind of rude and they seem to try and make an already stressful time in your life slightly more stressful. They are frequently late, (I am usually slightly early) - even if you are the first appointment of the day.
They also do not upload anything into MyChart which is unlike the rest of NYU.
Overall I had a hard time getting anyone to talk to me about my results. I understand that we all get stressed out but it was really bizarre, no one wanted to call or discuss anything with me. When I asked if they could staff was like shocked that a patient would be interested in this.
Overall its not great. I think there are just better options in the city. You don't need to sacrifice on care quality and go here.

DO NOT GO HERE.
WORST OFFICE I HAD EVER BEEN TO. Horrible, rude, and irresponsible staff. I was never treated so unfairly in a doctors office. I arrived during my 15 minute grace period that every patient receives and they turned me away because they were running late already for the day. They said maybe one of their sonographers will cut their lunch short to work with me, kept me waiting FOR ONE HOUR and then the manager comes out himself to tell me they can't see me and that the office or their partner office had no more appointments for another 2 weeks. So unfair, twisting that I was late all because it took them 20 minutes to get all my paperwork together. What a horrible and unprofessional office!! TERRIBLE PRACTICE.
