The team at this lenscrafters location are always so welcoming and friendly. From the front of house staff to the opticians. I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years, and they always offer great advice when chooses glasses, quick service and are generally a pleasure to deal with. Nardeen & Nadaesha were especially helpful today - knowledgeable about the services and delightful to deal with.

I had an excellent experience at Lenscrafters Optique at 49 st and 3th ave. The service provided by Carl was outstanding — professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable with my choices. It’s rare to come across such high-quality customer service, and it really made a difference. I would highly recommend Lenscrafters Optique to anyone looking for expert care and a welcoming experience.

I called to confirm that they were covered by my insurance. I have a voicemail from them confirming that I was covered. I go in and order my glasses and notice it was quite a bit more expensive than it should have been. The receipt does not show the breakdown so I call to ask and they send me a second receipt they don't give you usually with the cost breakdown on it. I am able to identify where the extra charges are and the person on the phone agrees to refund me. Well days go by and no refund. I send several followup emails and no response. I go in to pick up the glasses and I am informed by another worker that I will not be getting the refund despite being promised it. They claim that I had "exam coverage and not "materials coverage", but when I came in to order the glasses, the same person explicitly told me I had materials coverage and went over what it was. I also bought sunglasses from them that were $40 more than they are listed everywhere else. Please avoid them or take time to understand what they are overcharging you on.
In summary, I was lied to several times by Lens Crafters employees and they are refusing to correct the issue. Avoid this place at all costs and do not trust what they are telling you.

Extremely helpful and accommodating location. Nardeen did a huge favor for me after I left my contacts at home and had to give a presentation at work later in the day. She provided me with a pair of trial lenses and saved the day. Thanks!!

Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to take a moment to share my exceptional experience with one of your employees, Nadaesha, at LensCrafters.
After a frustrating visit to another optical store where we felt dismissed and poorly attended, Nadaesha immediately made a huge difference. She was incredibly attentive and patient, making an effort to understand us despite some communication difficulties. She provided all the information we needed, guided us through the appointment scheduling process, and answered every single question we had.
The following day, when we returned for our eye exams, Nadaesha continued to be extremely professional, caring, and thoughtful. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness made the entire experience smooth and pleasant.
I want to express my sincere gratitude for her excellent service. We were very satisfied with the support she provided and highly recommend both Nadaesha and your LensCrafters location. She truly represents the high standard of customer care that every store should strive for.
Sincerely,
Eduardo
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
