I will go back her for anything other than giving birth. I gave birth in March and my incision got infected. The doctor took off a painful dressing. RIPPED IT OFF 3 days post C-section. I screamed and she said it was my hairs with an attitude. She pulled left and pulled right and snatched the middle. Keyword the middle was pulled last and the hardest! I never healed properly and was hospitalized again the next week because of an opening in the middle of it and oozing pus. The front and back of my incision is infected. Another reason was terrible treatment my last day right before being discharged. This was from the nurses and again from maternity. I don’t want add names but if I can post my email between the nurse manager and myself I would because it was completely unresolved. They didn’t give me my baby’s footprints even though I told them over the phone I will pick them up the next day. The supervisor nurse made me walk out of the hospital from upstairs and said I didn’t need a wheelchair… it was actually traumatic because you see these health care officials acting unprofessionally and you don’t want to piss them off more by complaining and as the patient you know that they can do anything to you as retaliation… with the nurse situation I called the night before I came in person and other nurses showed empathy and I personally feel like they knew exactly what happened but nobody can do or say much and I completely understand. Susan and Michelle are a couple of nurses who I could not speak to directly. Susan made me very uncomfortable, no matter what I said she spoke over me and seemed aggravated when I spoke. Michelle was very kind until she told me I don’t need a wheelchair even though I was in excruciating pain. She didn’t hand me my papers for my baby’s footprints and she rushed me out and her whole entire attitude changed. This happened after a nurse and myself was arguing and honestly it was her yelling at me and misconstruing my words. This specific nurse was extremely difficult and I was overwhelmed… I cried. It was a whole mess over my medication. I’m now leaving a review because I’m here still taking antibiotics and worried about my incision. You’re suppose to feel safe with nurses and doctors and I felt like this was my absolute worst delivery and this is my 4th baby. I will find out next week if the infection went away. My apologies for any mistakes typing this up. 😢

The staff was super kind and attentive. I went on an early morning on a weekday and was seen in under 5 minutes. Thank you to the team!

I delivered a baby here on December 25, 2025. I honesty feel like I took a trip to a third world country. Let me start by saying that the hospital hasn’t been renovated or updated probably since it was built, you can see the major cracks in the walls, chipped paint, malfunctioning equipment and worn out super uncomfortable beds. But that’s the least of its problem. Most of the nurses are clueless about their job, they couldn’t draw blood or make a line, it took 3 people to unsuccessfully draw a tube of blood after which my body went into shock from pain they inflicted. After delivery I stayed in like a waiting room for the majorly of the day without food or any accommodation, around 3pm I was moved into a room that could barely fit a bed let alone me and a visitor and a baby. The room was either super cold Like 50-60 degrees or super hot. After multiple requests to fix this they said I need to contact environmental services myself to fix this. The nurse (possibly of polish decent) didn’t connect compression socks or give me any water until The morning, even though I asked multiple times. I was moved 3 times in my 2 day stay, each time working with new rude nurses(except older black woman who was very nice and professional). To top it off the final nurse showed up with a huge cold sore and zero ppe to handle my baby in a Covid/flue season. When confronted they sent in a rude pediatrician to say if baby stopes eating well, take her to a doctor. I requested an administrator but she was of no help either. What a terrible way to bring in a new baby into the world. I could never imagine that can happen in New York City. I’m just lucky we are okay after all this took place.

I gave birth to two of my four children here, most recently just two months ago, and both experiences were truly 10/10. My husband wasn’t able to be there, but the incredible nurses made sure I never felt alone—I will always be grateful for their kindness and support and also my OB Dr. Kyan the best !!!! A very special thank you to Dr. Elizabeth Rovit for delivering my baby boy. You took the time to explain everything and brought me so much comfort when I was scared. You made my experience unforgettable, and I will forever be thankful. 💙
