Honestly shocked by the experience I had at this SoulCycle with the support staff. When trying to setup my bike in the dark room, they started off being a tiny bit rude to me when I didn’t immediately know how to set up the bike. Then later into class, I had gone to get water and was told “we normally don’t let people back into class.” Now that’s a major issue for so many reasons, because these classes are very expensive, because it’s not fair to limit people’s bathroom use / water during workouts or honestly just need to step out. If it’s so disruptive to the environment of the studio, then figure out some lighting outside that isn’t so disruptive when you open the door. If it’s a “safety” issue, then that’s total BS given people will constantly leave during stretching. On top of all this, the class was so loud that my ears are in pain afterwards and I couldn’t go to get ear plugs without risking “not being allowed back in.”
Overall I’ve just never left so disappointed and upset from a workout class and will never be returning here again.

just wanted to share an extremely wonderful experience I had with Nicolette and Zoey at the e54 studio. Someone took my bike accidentally and they were quick to resolve the situation and brought me a new one and they were so kind and gracious. Really appreciated such a great experience during a stressful time

I’ve always known SoulCycle for its engaging and high-energy classes, but my experience at this studio was the worst I’ve ever had. As someone who takes at least three classes a week and has tried multiple studios in NYC, I’ve never encountered such poor treatment.
From the moment I arrived (15 minutes early, as instructed), the front desk staff member, Hanna, was unhelpful, impatient, and dismissive. I had to reset my SoulCycle account, which took longer than expected due to email delays, reset of the account, etc. Instead of assisting, she rolled her eyes and made condescending remarks, even implying if I wanted a better experience I should book directly instead of using ClassPass. (In my prespective, if soulcycle is a partner of classpass should give the same treatment, similiar to any other studio I've tried in the city trough classpass);
When I finally got into the dark studio, the class was about to start no one helped me find my bike. Struggling to clip in my shoes (which was especially important due to my recent ankle surgery), I asked Hanna for help—she ignored me and walked out.
Frustrated, I left the class and expressed my disappointment, expecting at least an apology. Instead, Hanna bring a lot of attitude and after I asked her name she mocked how I pronounced it, laughed, and was brining up ridc. things like I bumped into her on the room and was flashing my phone in class (which I didn’t even have with me). Her attitude was shocking and unacceptable.
I left feeling disrespected and appalled. SoulCycle is known for community and inclusivity, but this experience was the complete opposite. I truly hope management takes this seriously—no customer should be treated this way.
And for you, i you are thinking about taking a class in this studio, honestly just go to a different one to not risk going trough a similar experience;
