  I am thrilled and deeply grateful for the exceptional and professional care I’ve received from the doctors, assistants, technicians and staff at SDNY! From the moment I walk through the front door, I feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Dr. Franco is an outstanding communicator/listener who inspires confidence and trust . His skill, expertise, talent, patience and friendly demeanor over the past year of a complex reconstruction have been truly unmatched and so greatly appreciated. Thank you Dr Franco, Jamie and Maggie! My smile is beautiful, my confidence has been restored!

  I broke 2 of my front teeth when I was a child and had many crowns and root canals over the last 30 years. Apparently, there was a persistent infection that had been causing bone loss and I had to have one of the teeth extracted but the bone grafts kept failing. After 6 failed oral surgeries in the last year and a half at various dental offices, I ended up finding SDNY Dental. Dr Tarnow diagnosed the issue, resolved the infection and in one surgery my issues were resolved! The work Dr Tarnow and Dr Chu did to resolve my dental issues can only be described as masterful. Their work and craftsmanship is in a league of it's own!

  I made an appointment to see Dr Richard B Smith, I was referred by a mutual friend. At the initial consult we discussed what I already knew I needed to do. Crown all my upper and lower teeth, a six figure job. I thought the appointment went well. Dr Smith told me he would email a detailed treatment plan outlining the scope to work. And the cost. I paid the consult fee and left. Approximately 2 weeks later I called the office as I never received the proposal. The front office told me they (or he?) must’ve forgot to do it. I was told they would remind the doctor and it would be ready the next day. I told her not to bother. I don’t need to spend that sum of money with an office that FORGOT to send the contract. Fortunately I met with another dentist the following week. The doctor sent me the information promised. And even though I wasn’t personally referred he called me personally a few days later to ask me if I had any questions and if there’s anything he can do to help me feel comfortable making a decision. Needless to say he’s is crowing all my teeth. If your planning to go SDNY Dental I hope you have a better experience than I did. Thank you

  I spent approximately 8K there in 2016/2017 on a gum surgery and two new crowns. Then, only after a year of the work being completed, one front crown fell right out of my mouth while flossing. I paid another 2k to fix it elsewhere, who commented on how it should not have happened. Overall at SDNY, I felt rushed, unimportant, things were not explained to me throughout the process. I chose this office because of the number of specialists in one place, yet there didn't seem to be much communication. I had to interrupt processes with my concerns and questions. It was like I was on a conveyer belt. Maybe there is too much pressure on the staff to see too many patients. I had to pay twice for this experience.
