Alex and the team are fantastic! We brought our coaches for a concussion management class for youth hockey and it was very educational. Btw if you haven't joined the hottest run club in NYC on Thursday nights with Matt you're missing out, all levels welcome! 10/10 would recommend.
Ps. They're now an Official Hyrox Training Club 💪🏼

Following some recommendations from other NYC runners, I came to Prehab in summer 2025 with some persistent hamstring pain and a goal to run the marathon in November. They brought me all the way from unable to run without pain to finishing the marathon a minute and thirty seconds faster than I expected. I worked with Alex, Kyle, and Aaron, but mostly Aaron, and I couldn’t have been happier with the rapport and support. With some targeted work, I was back on the streets within a week or two. They cultivate a really lovely sense of community at Prehab and I quickly felt like part of something (I would usually never say something like that, but it is true here—everyone talked to me, they invited me to events, they learned about me and my personal life outside of running and PT). Everyone who works there is so very friendly (shout out to Emily especially). Aaron genuinely cared about my progress and, unlike other PTs I’ve been to, I was the center of attention for an hour solid each session. They gave me lots to work on at home and were responsive to questions. They analyzed my gait and gave me tips on how to become a more efficient runner (work in progress!). And we checked in on that over the course of several months to see how my form was progressing.
All that said, if you want a runner-focused PT who knows the mechanics of running and is a great PT who can tailor the work to the running, and you can swing it, I’d highly recommend Prehab.

I ran for years by myself and without any running guidance. I decided to see how much I could improve my running with professional help, and started training with Aaron at Prehab. Aaron analyzed my running form and then we did drills and exercises to improve the things I need to work on. In addition to just generally liking the variety of exercises we do (mobility, plyometrics, etc. that I would never do by myself), I just ran the Richmond Half Marathon in 1:48 - 10+ minutes faster than my previous best time and way under my goal of 1:55. Highly recommend Prehab to improve your running and avoid injury.

Had some Achilles pain so I came into Prehab and had a wonderful session. I was treated by Kyle, who is very experienced. We went through a variety of treatments and exercises to kickstart my recovery, and got great advice on how to continue my recovery at home. The facility is also amazing and has just about anything you can think of. Would recommend.

Prehab provides more than just physical therapy. I initially started going after experience a lower back injury from running. Not only has my injury significantly improved, but I also learned a ton about proper running form and what exercises are needed to maintain strength moving forward. Aaron, Alex, and team are super knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. This is the place to go for any serious runners in NYC!
