We were lucky to be the only customers in the store for most of our visit and had outstanding service from Lucas. He was so helpful and patient while I was trying to decide between frames, explaining everything in detail with regards to the frames, different lenses and insurance coverage. My daughter ended up also purchasing another pair of glasses as we were so happy with our experience.
- JJJULIANAug 10, 20251.0Told I was getting premium 1.74 lenses – paid $765 – got something else instead. Visited Oliver Peoples 575 Madison Ave on 8/8/25. I was told I’d get 1.74 high-index lenses with Crizal Rock and the latest Transitions, but my receipt showed 1.67 with “premium AR coating” and no mention of those products. The associate said the change was a “discount” since I don’t have insurance and told me to “trust” her. When I asked to verify authenticity or see lab documentation, I was told it was confidential. She also said the lenses wouldn’t have standard laser etchings like “T” for Transitions. I paid $765 expecting premium Essilor products, but left feeling misled. Refund was only for lenses, not frames, even though lenses never left the store. Disappointing for a luxury brand.

I walked into their store at 575 Madison Ave. and was greeted by Agata, who helped me. She was super knowledgeable, personable and professional. The entire experience was wonderful. She is a great asset to the brand experience. I recommend Agata and this particular store very highly!
