During the pre-transplantation and pre-transplantation process, the team of doctors, nurses, care coordinators were phenomenal. They made us feel supported throughtout the journey and we wouldn't be where we are today without them. The wait for the transplant was about 3 years-ish, but we transferred there from another kidney transplant center in another health system in the city where we had been waiting for many years; so perhaps this played a key role. As long as you are on top of your appointments and accountable for your health/lifestyle, you will beat the condition- this wonderful place will just help you and supports you along the way.
