  Being a first time mom I didn’t know what to expect from the role of the pediatrician. I was so thrilled that we ended with with Dr. Wegman at Global Pediatrics. She truly listened to our concerns and worked with us on creating a customized routine for our child. No question was a stupid question and she truly takes the time to answer each one. She also is updated on the most recent literature and studies and quotes them in an informative but not robotic manner. Not to mention will tell you what toys to get that are age appropriate, sleeping training advice, the best pediatric instagram accounts to follow, and overall general health. Each of the nurses - Courtney, Hannah, Lorania, Gina, Stephanie, Arlene etc - are equally as helpful and constantly monitor MyChart to make sure the doctors don’t miss a single question from a parent. The covering doctors in the practice have been equally as great and have followed up with Dr. Wegman to keep her in the loop. I would send over school forms a few days before our appointment and they were already filled out to the best they could be before we arrived. For such a big practice they are highly personable and make you feel welcomed. It’s rare to find that dynamic in such a big practice. There were times when I was scared as a first time mom and could make an appointment that day on the app just to run my questions and concerns by a doctor. Also, once they stayed open a little bit past closing time when my daughter showed signs of croup just so we could get in and give us a steroid shot. Unfortunately because we are moving we have to change doctors and my husband and I both acknowledged that we probably won’t find a doctor like Dr. Wegman and a practice like Global Pediatrics again.

  Dr. Eric Gibbs is truly remarkable! He goes above and beyond, taking ample time with his patients to thoroughly understand their medical history. What sets him apart is his personalized approach; he makes you feel safe and seen. Dr. Gibbs genuinely listens to your concerns, and his follow-up care is exceptional. His expertise and compassionate demeanor make you trust his opinions wholeheartedly. He's not just a doctor; he's an exceptional one!

  If you are new patient’s looking for advice, I highly recommend you look somewhere else for pediatric services. We have coped with bad services for a while and finally decided to find a new pediatrician. We strongly recommend existing patients ask for a pre-authorization form for every single vaccine they recommend your children to take, even for routine, annual checkups and health care forms. We went for an annual checkup and ended-up with $600 out-of-pocket bill for a vaccine Dr. Wegman recommended. We spent 10 months going back and forth with the billing department and the clinic to dispute the charge, receiving mixed messages the entire time (of course). While we thought we obtained the write-off approval, we actually got collection calls instead, as they overturned the decision without informing us. Their argument was that you signed the “check-in” form, which is an agreement for everything! Who will go to an annual checkup expecting to pay $600? We rarely leave reviews, but considering this frustrating ordeal, we hope this review will help you make an informed decision.

  Dr Wegman is a special doctor. We were planning to see a different doctor but that all changed when we met Dr Wegman while she was doing her rounds at the hospital after our son was born. She immediately put us at ease, answered our questions simply and confidently and left us feeling secure. It felt like we already knew her for years. She is smart, relatable, confident, and patient. If these are important traits to you then I highly recommend Dr Wegman.

  Terrible customer service, rude and inflexible. I gave up trying to get past the gate keeper receptionist and went elsewhere on the UES, where I received wonderful service immediately.
