Dr. Yelena Averbukh and the team here are incredible. The attention to detail and personalization during each appointment is why I continue to choose NYU Care on Demand. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. 10/10
surprised by fees, paid $200 out of pocket for covid/flu test after my insurance paid $450. otherwise, nice dr, great fast service and was real lab test, not rapid.

I saw Dr. Jacques Merab for what I suspected to be strep throat.
After I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time, he looked at my throat, told me it was likely a viral infection (and that only children and college students get strep, ) said he wouldn't recommend a strep test and sent me on my way with no testing, no recommendations for pain/symptom management, etc. The conversation and exam lasted less than five minutes.
Two days later I was diagnosed with strep and prescribed antibiotics at a different urgent care.
Also, the receptionist (who also took my vitals in the exam room) was super pushy and rude about the new Amazon palm scanners, which I've always been able to avoid at other Langone offices.
The staff can be rude and unprofessional. Techs jam needless in too deep for bloodwork. Clean and new but always empty because of the staff.

RUN away or make sure to see MD!! First, they double-charge you, but you can’t even see an MD. Their inexperienced NP checked my ear for less than a second and said found nothing. I contacted them through email, and how much discomfort I had. She dismissed my concerns. She’s absolutely clueless about medicine and interactions. I ended up developing a serious ear infection.
I never write a bad review to an health care professional.. This is beyond bad!!
If you found an influenza from a person. And she complained thru the weekend about extreme ear pain!! You don't give them nose spay!! Especially someone who has immunocompromised.
