  I booked an appointment with her and to my grand surprise I didn't get to lay eyes on her.A resident performed my entire check up.Very disrespectful and deceiving

  I discussed plans to get an IUD with my doctor, I was told it had to be ordered and then they would call to make an appointment. A month goes by, I call to check in and they said not to worry, they'll be in touch. I wait another week or two and call back, I'm told the items can take a long time to ship. Somebody finally reached out to a nurse in the office who then called and told me that the order had never been put in and my doctor had left the practice. In addition to this, I always had to wait a minimum of half an hour on hold for a call and had an hour long wait before my last appointment. Between the general disorganization and frequent wasting of time, I highly recommend you don't trust them with any of your medical needs.

  I made an appointment a few months ago with Dr. Lisa Johnson as a new patient. Today my scheduled appointment finally arrived. I should have known something was amiss when the nurse had to come back a 2nd time after realizing they didn’t have my medical history. Clearly this isn’t a well organized office. After telling her I had had breast cancer and a double amputation she asked me if I ever had cancer. Yeah… I just told you that. When she left I waited 25 minutes in the room before the nurse returned to tell me the Dr was busy and I could either wait an additional 15 minutes or see the nurse practitioner. As I was a new patient to the practice, I was very disappointed that I would be unable to create a relationship with the Dr. herself. I didn’t have all day to sit around waiting for a 30 second pap smear, so I took the only option I felt I had and took the nurse practitioner. There were several issues I wanted to discuss with the doctor but she doesn’t respect new patients enough to either follow-up with an apology phone call or send a message asking about the appointment. Total bait and switch. At least other practices are upfront and tell you when you book that you may not actually see the doctor with whom you booked. So because I never saw Dr. Johnson, she and the practice get 1-star. Anyone booking an appointment here should be under no delusion that they will actually see a doctor. They will pawn off the 2nd string on you if they can.

  I just want to counter the awful review that is on google. Dr. Abdul-Karim is a wonderful provider who takes her time with her patients. The office staff is always friendly and passes on pertinent information. I have recommend several friends to be seen in this office. If you are thinking about finding a new provider Dr. Abdul-Karim is amazing.
