  Had an appointment with Dr. Mori. I asked to do a skin sensitivity test because I wanted to confirm that a specific ingredient was giving me trouble, and they repeatedly told me that I should just try the skincare items and see if it makes me break out. Their reasoning being that the multi-day panel is an overkill, despite my having told them the skincare took weeks to show up on my skin and it’s tough to isolate the ingredients and therefore difficult to test accurately. It felt like I was being gaslit. Ultimately, the doctor told me that they do not conduct these tests, and I presume that was the reason for the unreasonable pushback. I generally felt that this doctor was unwilling or unable to actually listen to what I was saying. I asked about another issue on my hand, and the doctor glanced over and said “looks like it’s fine - just come back if it hurts or get bad”. I was sure visibly if she had taken a closer look she’d have known it wasn’t fine, as the next dermatologist I visited immediately did and treated on the spot. I will not be returning. Disappointing, as other Northwell physicians I’ve met have been professional and helpful. Office building and staff were both fine. Nothing outstanding or nice but not bad either.

  I was scheduled for a pricedure that I specifically booked during my week off. Two days before I was told the chemicals were delayed but to still come in so that they could test another type. I arrived and waited over 90 minutes without the doctor. Nurse or anyone checking in and explaining the delay. I understand things happen but a pop in explaining the situation would have been appreciated. Even then waiting almost two hours overall seems excessive.

  Visit with Dr Rosenberg took under 2 min. It is 5 days later and they still have not sent my prescription to the pharmacy … sigh!!! I called 6 times so far leaving messages - but no call back. Seriously??!! They say they have a problem with the system with prescriptions since awhile back (no shit Sherlock) but still accepting new patients without telling us that you will have to wait forever for the medication. Would never have gone there if I knew. I needed this ointment desperately - FIVE DAYS AGO! Never coming back. Would definitely not recommend. Staff at the front desk is not pleasant when dealing with old people that don’t get how to open the door when buzzed in. Nurse was nice though, but that was about it.
