  One star only because I like the doctors. Their billing is horrendous. I had surgery to remove my gallbladder on Sep 2. I paid the patient responsibility by credit card because I was told the health care spending account usually rejects the initial charge and that it's easier to pay by card and later submit the claim and get refund from HSA. I did what they suggested but when I tried to get refund I realized that the HSA had also paid the claims. As a result I ended up double paying and I have still not been able to get a refund for the credit card charge (and it's now January). I will never get surgery there ever again and I'm even thinking of switching my primary care elsewhere.

  RUN if you go to primary care here. The service is great but they double charge your copay for the visit. Since the primary care here is a contract with Northshore, they charge to both groups. Its a real shame. Some people cannot afford to pay an extra copay. Their billing department pushes the blame on the other group and instead of trying to fix the issue internally pushes the responsibility on the patient. Such a shame that I had to leave the great doctor I met here since it got to the point of being ridiculous (only reason why didn't give 1 star). Was even put on collections.
