  Dr Baum is GREAT! I had gone to him twice having 2 areas of disc issues. The first time I went for my lumbar and he said it's not in need of surgery yet (which I agreed my symptoms could be worse, as is for my next reason I went) Second visit about a year later for my Cervical compression of my spinal cord and Boom! Surgery in 6 weeks. He has incredible physician manners, listens, and answers your concerns in full detail. Highly recommend his office.

  Dr Ellis was very cold. We felt we took up his time and left feeling uncomfortable. We got a second opinion days later which was similar in content but a world of difference in delivery. We pulled the trigger on care with second opinion, and although Brittany was thorough and caring With scheduling we couldn’t get out fast enough and said we’d get back. Sad this was our experience after we felt so optimistic after Netflix portrayal

  The neurosurgery team at Lenox Hill is top notch. They literally saved my life and I could not be more grateful than I am right now. For 15 years, I had constant back pain; chalking it up to my slight scoliosis. Not one doctor caught that there were slow growing tumors on my spinal cord. The doctors at Lenox Hill Neuro did. I now have zero pain - I honestly did not know what not having pain felt like, even when I thought I wasn't in pain. From the consultation, to the pre-op and from surgery to recovery/follow-up - it has been an absolute pleasure being a patient of theirs. I always feel comfortable and confident I am being taken care of. Special shout out to Dr. R. D'Amico for being that life saver I was in need of. Some heroes don't wear capes - they wear scrubs. And THANK YOU to all the rest of you involved in my care; I am eternally grateful of you!
