This was an extremely frustrating experience. After a doctor determined the lenses may have been made incorrectly, we returned to this LensCrafters for assistance. Instead of investigating the issue, Marla immediately argued that the glasses were made correctly and that the doctor was wrong.
There was no compassion, NO troubleshooting, and NO acknowledgment that the customer could not see properly. The focus seemed to be on defending the store rather than helping resolve the issue.
Mistakes can happen anywhere — what matters is how they’re handled. Unfortunately, the absolute lack of professionalism and empathy here made the situation worse.
Update: thank you for Your AI generated response that provides no true acknowledgement or accountability. Treating human beings like trash should be your new motto

Eileen Fernandez at 1042 2nd Ave gave me the best glasses fitting I have experienced in my entire life! From the moment I walked into for my eye exam, she was so welcoming which was a great start. When it came to picking out the frames, she went above and beyond to make sure the fit and price were the best that they could be. She went very in depth to go over the customization options for the transition lenses. By that I mean brought out a UV ray machine with tester lenses to show me what I can expect to see with each color configuration. After reviewing few options, I went with the Sapphire tint! She also brought out a gadget to measure the diameter of the lens against the rest of my face and even used a 3D rendering tool to show me how the thickness of my lenses would translate against the frame to make sure the lenses weren't too thick. She also applied the full use of my vision benefits through work and promotions at the time to give me a great deal on the price. I could not have asked for a better experience. Eileen is the type of person you follow from store to store for that level of service. Thanks again Eileen!!!

Waited 25+ minutes to be seen for my appointment, staff was kind but needed more staffing to make sure everyone was seen. I felt the doctor had to rush through each patient and then they kept telling me they were giving me the most “basic” option for the cost of lenses just to find out there was other options.
Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters Optique
How do I know if my child needs glasses?
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
