I got a pair of their reading glasses for over $60 after tax yesterday. And I have not even used it for one day, but it broke today, snapped for no reason. Right now their manager is telling me that I cannot have this pair of glasses replaced or taken back or do an exchange. So I am supposed to just take a loss on a pair of glasses I just bought and have not even used it for one day? Can somebody tell me this is not right and something needs to be done? I am in complete shock and very disgusted by the store in the policy.

I just want to say first the service by the 3 young ladies in here today was fantastic despite the drama that was going on around them. My one star however was because a young man who needed help and was acknowledged more than once during my interaction with one of the young ladies, was going above and beyond to be rude. He insisted on waiting for the girl I was dealing to then just be rude and disrespectful. I honestly feel like she tried her best to continue providing customer service while trying to handle the multiple situations in the store and do not appreciate watching staff being talked down to in this manner. More help should be provided and more kindness extended to these workers. I watched them acknowledge everyone that came in and provide service well. Please protect your staff.

I had a really disappointing experience here today. I picked up my glasses in the morning and came back later because they felt too tight and needed a simple adjustment. I was told by the front desk to sit and wait at one of the desks. While waiting, the manager asked if I needed help, and I said yes. After waiting 15-20 minutes with no one assisting me, I went back up to check in. The manager told me that I hadn’t been helped because I was “too busy on my phone” and hadn’t come to her desk or explained what I needed. I was never told I had to do that, and I had already answered her when she asked if I needed help. She told me she didn’t like my attitude and asked me to leave instead of helping me. I returned the glasses and left. I expected a basic adjustment and got treated like I was being difficult for following the instructions I was given. Overall very unprofessional.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
