I came in to replace my glasses under warranty and the experience exceeded my expectations. The process was straightforward, the staff was professional and helpful, and everything was handled without any pushback or unnecessary delays. They clearly explained my options and made sure I was taken care of. Overall, very satisfied with the service and how smoothly the warranty replacement was handled. I’d definitely return and recommend this location.

Terribly managed lens crafters location, after I made an appointment online they cancelled my appointment without calling, texting, emailing, or reaching out to me in any way. They then gave my appointment time to someone else. When I showed up to my appointment time with an email confirmation they would not see me and did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation.

Great experience as a first timer; and I’ve worked down here for a decade! Special shoutout to James for the quick and efficient repair of the frame. I’ll be a return customer the next time I’m in the market for new eyeglass wear

I visited LensCrafters at 60 Broad St in the financial district of NY to update my frames for a new prescription. The new store design and branding looked fantastic. My initial interaction was positive, and I ordered a new pair of glasses. I specifically requested shipping and paid the $10.00 fee, providing my address, email, and contact information. The problems began with fulfillment. A week later, when I called for a status update, I was told the glasses were almost ready (needed final inspection) but was then asked if I wanted to pick them up. I reminded the associate that I had paid for shipping, and they assured me they would be sent 'asap.' Another week passed, and when I called again, I was told the glasses were ready for pickup for a second time. I was flabbergasted that my paid shipping instructions were still being ignored. I had to speak with a manager, who finally assured me the glasses would be shipped and would arrive within three days. I did finally receive my glasses weeks later. This sequence of events shows a serious lapse in customer care, efficient order tracking, and final fulfillment…LensCrafters…do better please. ** Update- I received a 50% discount on my next purchase at LensCrafters for the issue. This is way beyond my expectations and I really appreciate that attention was paid to this problem and resolved.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I walked in off the street and Andrew at LensCrafters went above and beyond! He took care of my glasses right away—fast, friendly, and completely free of charge. You don’t see service like that very often anymore. Andrew truly made my day, and I’ll definitely be coming back here for all my eyewear needs. Thanks again, Andrew! 👏

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
