  Dr. Galynker and Dr. Nikiforov demonstrated a highly decisive, structured, and professional approach in the evaluation and treatment planning for my brother. Prior to consulting with them, we had seen five different psychiatrists whose interventions did not effectively address his condition or provide clinical stabilization. Their team conducted a thorough psychiatric assessment, quickly identified key concerns, and formulated a clear, actionable treatment plan. Their level of expertise, diagnostic confidence, and ability to mobilize appropriate care in a timely manner was notable. My brother has been experiencing significant psychiatric distress and felt there were no viable options left. This team provided a pathway forward with evidence-based recommendations and coordinated next steps in his care. We are sincerely grateful for their clinical competence, responsiveness, and commitment to patient outcomes.

  When my brother saw me deeply depressed for months on end, he was concerned and asked that I visit him in NJ so I could be seen by psychiatric professionals at the Galynker Family Center. Our intake in June 2025 was with psychiatrist Dr. Nikiforov and social worker Dr. Ardalan. They both worked with me, Dr Nikiforov trying various medications and Dr. Ardalan giving me tips to control my intense anxiety, both team members believing in me when I could not, until I came out of a ten month deep depression in late October. My family and I are very appreciative for their availability weekly, depth of experience and professionalism. Thankful for being introduced to the Galynker Family Center.

  Dr Galynker and the entire team are highly trained experts in their field. Our son is receiving the best possible care with close monitoring of meds and support for both the parents and the patient. As a result, we are able to sleep at night knowing our son is in great hands. Cannot recommend this practice enough.

  After several years of watching my daughter struggle through ineffective therapists, residential programs, hospitalization, and outpatient programs, we finally got the help we needed from the Family Center for Bipolar Disorders. I believe that fate or a higher power guided me to their website over 2 years ago when I felt that we had no place else to turn. With extremely knowledgeable and caring doctors & staff, my daughter was finally able to get the help she so desperately needed. The doctors are willing to Skype with us regularly since we don't live in NY. And they are always available and responsive to text messages. The doctors understand that a bi-polar disorder requires more than a quick fix and they are more than willing to put in the time & effort to provide continuous and quality care.We have seen tremendous progress in 2 years and I don't know where we would be without them.
