  I accidentally slipped and went thru a glass shower door .boy,I had one long bloody gash on my body.I visited my internist at L.I.J. and he said I can't help you. You should have gone to the ER.... (he's no longer my doctor) So I called Dr. Safai & I'm so thankful he was able to treat me He has a calm voice that put me at ease. Please never leave NYC Dr.Safai. I don't know what I would do with out you.Stay healthy.

  It's interesting that if a doctor in practice doesn't have a resolution to your concerns, it's best to suggest a client to seek out a psychiatrist. It's called a medical practice for a reason as most doctors have no clue to what is going on with the client and refer you from one practice to another. Just because you can't determine what's causing the ailment doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Unfortunately seeing bijan safai made me loose absolutely all hope in today's medical practice. There is a reason why the majority of people hate seeing these so called docs as most are aware that it's all a bussiness and there is no empathy nor compassion left and people leave more sick then when they first come in. If i was to listen and actually go forth with what this "doc" suggested , I probably wouldn't be alive today to write this review as he provided me with a misdiagnosed solution which would lead me nowhere good. Please do your research before you see any doctor, read the reviews, inform yourself in every way possible because who you choose to trust is crucial at the end of the day. Do not go to this doc if you care about your health period. Update: please refer to the response from the doctor below as best evidence for why you should consider going somwhere else. He threatens to "reveal " my name as it is different on yelp. I have every right to protect my identity. I do not need the world to know my ailments on any social platforms therefore have the right to a different tittle which is not considred a civil offence. I did not post any fake reviews on Google nor on yelp. I also don't have motive to exaggerate anything. I did not mention suicide , i understand that sentence can be ambiguous but i also understand someone who referes you to a psychotherapist would interpret it as such. I visited his practice and i wrote about my personal experience, just because it's not a positive one doesn't mean it's fake. However, it is a violation to reveal a patient's personal information. But this is compassionate doctor we are speaking about who is very much concerned about his patients and not his ethical business. I am glad that this doctor has so many qualifications and trainings and decades of this and that( the reason i sought him out in the first place)But all that can mean absolutely nothing in a clients eye if they cannot apply any of the knowledge and lack the simplest elements in medicine : ethics and compassion. I may not have decades of medical experience under my belt , but thankfully i can tell when i need to see a therapist or not.

  Dr Safai is amazing! He was very informative and caring. His office staff were also very helpful. I’d recommend him for any cosmetic work!

  Amazing, kind and very knowledgeable Doctor. More interested in quality patient care than most NYC physicians I have visited.
