Located on Pier 60 at the Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex, the adult membership fitness club features 150,000 square feet of space to work out, train and socialize. Highlights include a 6-lane, 75-foot indoor pool, 110+ classes a week including signature programming in Yoga, Barre, Pilates and Cycling, a 1/4-mile indoor running track, boxing ring and training circuit, one of the most challenging rock walls in the country, and expansive cardio & strength training options.     I asked to cancel my gym membership about three months ago, and since then I haven’t used it once. Despite that, I’ve still been charged every month. I’ll be working to get this resolved, but I want to warn others to double-check their cancellations and bank statements. Be careful — their billing practices are very disappointing and feel dishonest.

    Chelsea Fitness is hands down the best gym in the city! I’ve been a member for over 20 years, and it just keeps getting better. The staff is amazing, the instructors are incredibly skilled and motivating, and the variety of classes is unbeatable. The facilities are beautiful — with a fantastic new saltwater pool and two sunny decks that make you feel like you’re on vacation (outdoor yoga returns June 1!). Whether you’re looking to detox, train for a triathlon, stay fit, build strength, or boost your mood, Chelsea Fitness always delivers.

    Easily the best gym in NYC especially if you work remote - it’s phenomenal. I workout in the morning, work all day at the canteen, then do a workout class/sauna/ice bath at night. By far the best gym I’ve found in the city

    I accidentally left my bag in a gym locker and picked it up from the front desk the next morning, only to discover my $200 sunglasses were stolen. The unhelpful staff blamed me for the loss, despite the bag being locked in a locker, suggesting an employee was responsible. Disappointed to have this experience at such a premium gym.
