  Doctors are fine but suggest ordering glasses and contacts elsewhere the shop runs like it’s the 1950s still

  Been coming here for years. Started because it was close to my office, but I've kept coming back even though both my current office and home are not in this neighborhood. Dr. Maxwell is great -- always willing to answer a million questions, has a calming demeanor, remembers details even though I'm only in there once a year. Margie, who runs patient logistics, helped me get a rebate for a new kind of contact lenses, and has always been extremely helpful with providing receipts for insurance, copies of my Rx, as well as scheduling and all that. Highly recommend this practice!

  Margie in reception is the RUDEST person I've ever encountered in my life. She gave me a terrible attitude and hung up on me twice simply because I was asking questions that I had every right to ask. When I called back after the first time, her "greeting" to me was "EXCUSE ME I didn't hang up on you." It's mind blowing that you'd put such a nasty, miserable person at the face of your brand and business. Pro tip: you're probably losing patients because of her poor attitude and behavior. You're in NYC - there are literally hundreds of other options for patients. Service matters.

  I have been gone to Battery Park Vision Associates since I was a kid, Dr. Naparstek is very nice and polite and always knows what's best for me. Selection of frames are very good and they have their own line of affordable frames as well. Always love visiting the eye doctor!
